# Change Description

Once we have clicked on the **Change Description** button through the
**Inventory
Items**
screen, a screen like the one we can see below will appear.

It allows us to change the description of the selected inventory item in
all the **Family
Groups**
where the inventory item exists, by typing the name of the new
description and clicking on the **OK** button.

The **Cancel** button allows us to exit of the screen without making any
changes.
